A bit more about me :
Born and raised in the beautiful Beaujolais region of France, I’ve always had a passion for language, culture, and connection. After completing my studies in Lyon, I embarked on international adventures, studying in both Portugal and Mexico before earning my Master’s degree in teaching, therefore I speak English, Spanish and portuguese.I earned my DAEFLE certification, deepening my expertise in teaching French as a foreign language.
My journey then took me further afield, from teaching French in Tanzania to the serene island of Jersey, where I continued to hone my skills as an educator and a teaching coordinator.
When I’m not teaching, I’m often found enjoying the simple pleasures of life: gardening (especially trying to grow vegetables ), swimming, practicing yoga, or exploring the world of natural wines. And let’s not forget my love for cooking—whether it’s French classics or experimenting with international flavors, I find joy in creating and sharing good food.
My teaching approach :
I specialize in teaching adults of all levels and tailor my lessons to suit each student’s needs and goals. For most learners, speaking and listening are the top priorities, which is why I focus on developing oral skills through real-life context and interaction. Immersion, in particular, is my favorite method—it creates the perfect environment for using French naturally and building confidence.
To me, confidence is key to mastering a foreign language. That’s why I encourage my students to speak as much French as possible, not just during lessons but also during meals, activities, and everyday moments. By immersing yourself fully, you’ll make faster progress and truly connect with the language.
Finally, I believe learning should be enjoyable! I’ll adapt lessons to your interests, integrate games and dynamic activities, and ensure you feel engaged and motivated throughout the process. After all, when we’re having fun, the sky’s the limit!
